Wow, does time fly by! Tony and I have graduated from Iowa Lakes! I can't believe I have already been in school 2 years! It is so nice to be back at home and have so much more time with family and friends. As some of you know, I have been on the hunt for a job for quite a while now. I am not having much luck, I have applied to pretty much every place possible in our area for a graphic design position, no such luck so far. I keep hoping and praying that something will come up, but it is so hard to remain patient. Hoping for something to turn up soon. For now just trying to make ends meet by working nights and weekends at the golf course. Tony has started working for his dad as planned and is really enjoying it.
We will be heading to Omaha this weekend for my cousin Alex's wedding. I am very excited! Can't wait to see all of the Henery clan. It's been way too long! Of course I am also excited to hit up the Henry Doorly Zoo with my little cousins! Hope to have some pictures of a fun weekend! :)

Big Changes! :)
Sorry I have gotten so behind on here! Lots of things have been going on lately making it difficult to keep up! I will try to give you a little recap!
March was a very busy month! On March 11, Tony and I flew out to California for spring break to visit his sister. We had much been looking forward to getting out of the cold Iowa weather. While we were there we did a lot of fun and exciting stuff but our most exciting was when Tony proposed!!! :) He was very sneaky and I had NO idea it was coming. We had gone to Santa Monica Beach for the day and had just finished eating at Bubba Gump Shrimp on the pier and decided to go back down on the beach one last time before we headed out for the day and as I was writing our names in the sand with my back to him he got done on one knee and proposed as I turned around. It was a beautiful day!
After we returned home and celebrated with our family and friends we were off to Orlando, Florida for our school's Web Design Club. We were headed to Photoshop World, a huge convention for photographers, graphic designers, and web designers. Even it rained a lot while we were there it was still a lot of fun and we learned a lot of new things.
Now that we are well into the month of April we have been very busy with school work since we graduate on May 13th.The end of the semester is nearing and there is still lots to be done! We will both be very relived when graduation is done. Although as stressful as school is, I have been stressing out over finding a job for after graduation even more. So we continue to patiently wait for an opportunity!

new year, new start.
I have decided to rename and revamp my blog. I feel as if this year is taking a big leap into new and great things and I wanted to capture that in my blog. This year I hope to keep up with my blog better and keep you all updated more. So here's to a new year! :)
So as of today I am back on campus at Iowa Lakes for my final semester of my Graphic Design degree. YAY! I am so excited to be finished, I can't believe it has gone by so fast! I recently have decided I am not quite ready to be done with school yet. I have looked into the Professional Photography program at Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon, IA and just got accepted last week. After having to reschedule my campus visit due to lovely Iowa weather, I finally took my visit today. I loved it. I am definatly certain photography is something I want to do hand-in-hand with Graphic Design. The program is a two year program for an Associate of Applied Science degree. I can't wait to start classes in the fall!
Some of you also may have heard that I also took on a position as Swim Team manager here at ILCC. I know what you are thinking, swim team?? There is a reason for the bizarre choice. This is Iowa Lakes' first year with a swim team and after my roommate Ryann and I persuaded our roommate Courtney to join, we felt a little bad when she ended up being the only girl to join the co-ed team. So we decided in an effort to keep her some company we would be managers! Emmetsburg is the main campus for the Swim Team so Coach was looking for someone here on the Estherville campus to help out with the athletes living here and Ryann and I were perfect fit for the job!! So far it has some really great perks, on Friday we are headed to CHICAGO for a two day meet! Look forward to pictures from the trip!

Sorry I have been slacking everybody. Wow have I been busy! Since I missed school 2 weeks in a row I was extremely behind. So I am now finally getting back into a routine.
As most of you know, I missed school because my great aunt Annie passed away. She was an amazing person and I loved her so much. She will forever be missed and always remembered.
| A toast to Annie at Bill's. |
